Daddy, I'm looking for some trouble...

....Less than 10 minutes later, he poured his milk all over my couch. (At least it wasn't on my computer this time.) And how can you get mad when this is what stares back at you.

He might enjoy sitting in the bathtub with a whole bunch of different-size cups -- so he can get that pouring thing out his cute little system.

Now I'm not parent, but, I do look around from time to time, and I watched my friends who are parents of younglings over the last few years.
I have observed many of them fill up cups that have a lid, and some other cups that even act like weeble wobbles and don't fall over.
Would you like me to research the web or call some friends that own young shrimps in search of cups with lids and cups that don't spill out? I'm happy to locate some for you.

Kevin, I was told their called sippy cups. So i googled sippy cup, and found a very insightful article. Below is part of it.

What's the best way to transition to a sippy cup?

Some babies take to a sippy cup immediately; others take a while to get used to the idea. Here are some tips on making the transition easier:

• Start off with a soft, pliable, nipplelike spout, which will feel more familiar to your baby than a hard plastic spout.

• Show your baby how to raise the cup to his mouth and tip it up to drink.

• Give it some time. Until your baby masters the maneuvers, you may want to put only water in the cup. When he shakes or throws it, even a sippy might not keep purple grape juice from hitting the carpet.

• Don't worry if your baby doesn't use the sippy cup properly for a while. It makes a fine toy, too!

• Try different models until you find one that suits your baby. Some cups have valves that are so effective at keeping the liquid from spilling that children really have to work to get a drink.

• Encourage your child to use a regular cup when you think he's ready.

You're welcome!

Oh, I saw zero today, but 3 yesterday. one even said hi to me like he knew me.

Just wait till he's a little older, and you start finding very old grapes in your couch cushions. Like, so old, you think they're raisins....but you remember that the doesn't like raisins, he likes grapes, and green grapes at that...and then proceed to be thoroughly disgusted. Kids are great!

My little 'un once came up to me and asked to be put into timeout. When I asked why he said that he planned on being naughty later and wanted to get the punishment out of the way in advance!!!
